General information, not financial, tax, legal or benefits advice. Figures show what published rates and formulas produce for the amounts you enter; your actual payment depends on your earnings record, claim age, withholding and Medicare status. COLA Ledger is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Social Security Administration, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, CMS or any U.S. government agency. Confirm your figures with SSA or your my Social Security account.
The figures here show what published rates and formulas produce for the amounts you enter. What you actually receive depends on your earnings record, your claim age, any withholding, your Medicare status and other facts this site does not have and does not ask for. Use it to understand the rules; use SSA to find out about your record.
2 · Not a government site

COLA Ledger is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Social Security Administration, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, CMS or any U.S. government agency.
Nothing here is an official publication. No agency emblem, seal or government styling is used. Where a figure originates with an agency, the agency and the page it came from are named on the page that uses it.
3 · Accuracy, and its limits
Considerable effort goes into being right: every historical adjustment is recomputed from the raw index before the site can be built, every Medicare tier is reconstructed from the statutory multipliers, and the current-year parameters are reconciled against two independent official sources. The methodology sets out every gate and every known limit.
None of that is a guarantee. Sources are revised, publications contain errors, and a figure correct on the day it was retrieved can be superseded. The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, and neither Inventum nor COLA Ledger accepts liability for loss arising from reliance on it. Where a figure matters to a decision, confirm it against the government publication named on the page.
If you find an error, please report it — support@inventum.com.au. Corrections are made and logged publicly with the date.
4 · Reusing the data
The underlying figures are publications of the United States federal government and are in the public domain. They are not ours to license and we do not attempt to.

5 · Acceptable use
- Do not present this site, or material taken from it, as an official government publication or as endorsed by any agency.
- Do not alter a figure and continue to attribute it to the government source it came from.
- Automated retrieval at a reasonable rate is fine. Retrieval that degrades the site for other readers is not.
6 · External links
Pages here link to government publications so figures can be checked at source. Those sites are outside our control and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
7 · Advertising

8 · Changes
These terms may be updated; the effective date below will change when they are. Figures change more often than terms do, and every change to a figure is logged.
